The restoration process was a labor of love, undertaken with a keen eye for preserving the authenticity of these vintage treasures. Carefully removed the prior top fabric which revealed the original fabric shown underneath. The seats underwent a tedious deep cleaning being careful to not cause any harm to the fabric while doing so. They turned out exceptionally well. New dust covers were added underneath as well as new felt glides underneath the feet of the chairs.
The wood was carefully cleaned to remove grime and patina preserved by using an all natural 0% VOC hard wax oil imported from Belgium which really brought the chairs back to life.
The wood, now smooth and lustrous, tells a story of decades past while promising a future of enduring elegance.
